My point exactly, Ed. The back side (flat side) of the blue dot must be perpendicular to the ground & centered with the bulb behind it.

I'm not saying they can't be installed, rather the OEM Prowler lense does not lend itself to the Blue Dot for the ultimate purple haze effectiveness.

You can clearly see the superior Blue Dot (Glass) in the image below. Note the shape is pentagon (five sided). This is an indicator of the glass unit. Regardless of the material, it does not work well in the Prowler because it faces up & not back.......

However, if you were to mount it to the reflector plastic just inside the lense (possible, but not practical), it would be a whole different issue. Then, it would work.
