This is still tentative. Before we spend a lot of time lining up a photographer we need to know if there will be enough interest. If we have it the photo will likely take place on Tuesday June 19th. For those leaving early I apologize , however this is the earliest time we could really squeeze it in. We don't have any pricing information, but they usually run around $65.00. Don't hold me too this price. The reason I am asking is that enthusiasm at Louisville was minimal. That was partly due to the weather. We hope to have a back up day in case of bad weather in Tulsa. So if you interested in participating and buying on of these photos, please post here. If there is not enough interest we won't do one. I just counted the guest list and it looks to exceed Prowlin' the Smokies. I think it would be a shame not to capture this event with a panoramic. I gaze upon mine from the Smokies everyday and never get tired of it. I know that exact group will never be at one event as some have gone and new ones have come. Do it for the newer folks.jmo |

To the newer folks that are going to Tulsa and don't post much. HERE'S YOUR CHANCE! Get on here and stir up some interest. It's not just an incredible picture of the Prowlers!, it's the owners too and that is PRICELESS! |

I think it would be awesome, but I'm leaving Sunday early PM. Why Tuesday? The show on Saturday would be a good time. |

I'm out but I will say this. Even though the weather totally suc*ed for the photo shoot last year it turned out to be a good picture. I would have liked to seen 75 cars or more but the 33 that are in it looks great. I plan on a trip to Lawton to see Sue's son sometime over the weekend and then I have to head back to work. It would be great to have a group picture but doubt mine will be in it. |

I am not real big on the photos but Sandy is so we are a definite 1/2 vote. It is a ton of work to get it done right. I would prefer it is planned for late in the day. We will try to participate but it is not high on my list. |

I believe we have some good photographers as members. We could save a bunch if we reprints done locally at Ritz Camera or such. JMO I would participate but probably would not buy. WildBill could take the pictures as long as we confiscate his camera afterward. lol |

To address some of the questions. The panoramic photo cannot be done at the Car Show. The way the cars have to be positioned takes a lot of room and a lot of time to set up. The one taken at the smokies took a minimum of two hours to set up. I don't think the car show people would be very happy with us. Besides that you have the whole crowd control issue to deal with. Again if your leaving the event early, I apologize. Since this event is planned around the Tulsarama activities weekend time is tight. Most people I have had contact with, really want to have a Prowler cruise so that is scheduled for Sunday. As close to high noon is best for the picture because the sun is directly overhead and shadows would be eliminated. I did a quick check. Our Prowler and two others, only appear on the front row, more than once in the previous 3 photos. Ours happens to be up front on all three. At the Smokies the people that went out two hours early (myself and Linda included) to help set up the scaffolding on which the camera was perched, and also helped line up the cars, got to be on the front row. So we and others worked for that privilege. At the Dells we were randomly picked by Ray for the front row. At Louisville again we helped set up the cars for the photo. Also in each of the other photos, the event planners cars are on the front row. This is as it should be. As event planner for Tulsa. If there is a photo. Our Prowler will be on the front row. I think the photos are far harder to get positioned than they are worth. That said, I have participated in every photo for the events I have attended and I would participate in this one too. |

This is what setting up the smokies picture looked like. As you can see it requires a lot of space.
