Last June my wife and I both retired and in August we bought a perfect, low mileage, orange 2001 Prowler. What a difference the prowler has made in our retirement. Even though we have a little T-Bird, and have owned lots of classic cars from Model A Roadsters to Austin Healy, the Prowler gets top billing. Each day I look forward to checking the POA, which I do several times a day. The advice on the POA is outstanding. During the winter days we clean and shine the Prowler and look forward to warmer days and more time out with the car. Everywhere we go on nice days the line of people wanting to see and know about the Prowler is overwhelming. Thus, I am learning everything I can about the car. We are looking forward to the Tulsa get-together and meeting other Prowler owners. Ah, retirement is GREAT..now that we have the Prowler. Just like adding another member to the family. Thanks to all at the POA for the interesting postings! |

...And if you add The Woodward Dream Cruise and maybe Hot Somernights to your calendar, you will have the summer to remember. Welcome |

I'm in the same boat. although I'm getting close to retirement, had many beautiful cars, but this one (Purple 99) is special. My wife never really was that jazzed about my cars until the Purple Prowler came along now she refers to it as her car, and I'm lucky to get to drive it. I'm also looking forward to meet many of the Prowler owners at retirement, but for now I have to stay semi local, and meet the West Coast bunch Northern/Southern California. |

And you got the fastest color!!! Now, order some of those cases of the Maisto 1/64 Orange Prowlers from RPL so you have something to leave the children that just love our cars. Woodward is worth the trip, 10 year anniversary of the Cat. See U in Tulsa. |

Doc, welcome to the POA and congrats on the car and retirement. The car is a blast and it definitely change lives. AND if you think the car changed your life, wait until you make it to the first big POA event. We got ours in April 99. I told Sandy, no mods, no car clubs, no personalized plates. Crow is not that tasty, let me tell you. Make sure that when you get to Tulsa you introduce yourself to folks. Don't think you are an outsider because other folks know each other. EVERYone will be happy to meet you and welcome you to the inner circle, since it is just one big inner circle. If you stay off by yourself you won't get to know folks so don't be shy. Try to avoid A/C, however. lol |

Welcome aboard Doc & Mrs.Doc. I'm sure if you've been lurking for a while you've picked up on the essentials, i.e., mud flaps, ignoring everything A/C & Ed say, ceramic brakes, etc. (Did I slip that in there discreetly enough?)

Congrats Doc on your cat and your retirement! Looking forward to meeting you in Tulsa.........and maybe I can talk you into coming to Woodward? You are retired, right........? What a better way to spend your retirement than to attend as many Prowler events as you can!! ------------------ The Prowler makes you smile. Why? Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche. |
