[/QUOTE We are on the same time now that the Govenor got his way and put us in eastern daylight savings time The whole idea was for people to know what time it is in Indiana, it didn't work some counties are in Central time on the west side of the state, NO STRAIGHT TIME LINE THRU INDIANA There is no reason for it to be light out at 10 PM. The grass does not dry until noon so I have a hard time mowing before going to work. |

Thanks HotRod and Larry. That is what I thought but Sandy disagreed and said there was still an hour diff. I thought it changed this year. I don't know why we change, they should just decide to open up a business an hour earlier if that is what they need to do. On the flip side, when I get up at 3 PM I still have a few hours of daylight to make sure Sandy cut the grass properly, alternating the rows. lol She got home about 9:30 tonight. Short day, only 14 1/2 hours. On a funny note, they have the sheriff come in with drug sniffing dogs about once a month. They recently got rid of the in-house grounds maintenance and hired a contractor. Today the sheriff and dogs showed up about 10 minutes before the grounds crew showed up. It is a locked gate. When the crew got out of the trucks all of the dogs went nuts. Sandy said there will probably be a change in contractors in the very near future. She works at a "training" school, basically a reform school for 142 teenagers for those of you who do not know. She is the nurse there. No violent offenders, mostly stupid kids, drug users, thieves and sex offenders. |

Oh no ... Ed's asking the time question again ... Next thing you know he'll be giving directions again! We changed I think a year and half ago. Some counties in the southwest portion of the state will be changing AGAIN to match Eastern time. For all pratical purposes, the entire state will be Eastern then with the exception of Evansville with the surrounding counties and those close to Chicago. But I think they keep switchin it just to throw Ed off ... This message has been edited by whealy on 04-19-2007 at 10:31 PM |
