question, if you removed your softop completely and want to use a hardtop now, how can you have lever to pop the back pins loose to disengage top???? front ones dont matter, but need to know about rear, |

I don't have a hard top, but I think the same lever behind the passenger seat that is used to release the soft top is used to release the hard top. Snoman chime in here as I know you have a hard top, or anyone with one speak up... |

Not exactly sure what you mean by removed completely...but if you just removed the fabric and frame, the lever should still be intact. The black lever behind the passenger seat does disengage the hardtop pins. This message has been edited by DublinOH on 05-02-2007 at 10:06 PM |

....the lever behind the seat works the latch release even if the top isn't latched down...so, completely removing the top wouldn't make any difference at all, it would still work for the hardtop... |

Just making sure you understand. To use the hardtop you DO NOT have to remove the softop. Just simply lower it into the trunk for storage. |
