What color were the other ones? Bob, did you mean were they all Plymouth ships or were some Chrysler emblems, whatever color they were? |

My 2001 Plymouth Silver had the silver ship, but I changed it to black. The black stands out better on the silver paint. |

I was referring the background color used on the hood emblems on Silver Plymouth and Chrysler Prowlers. I've heard that silver was not used at all and I've heard silver was used and I've heard that black was used. I know on the Woodward and Black Tie that black background was used on the hood emblems. I also don't know what color was used on the Inca Gold Prowlers. |

The silver Plymouth's were silver. All Chrysler Prowler's were black. |

Bob, here is a picture of all of the Plymouths. I didn't include a Chrysler on purpose. |

Thanks Bob and Ed. That clears up the mystery. I'm still looking for the Plymouth Silver hood emblem to complete my collection... I assume black was used on the Inca Gold Kats. |

I thought they were out of stock on all colors but that may not be good info. I hope you can find a silver one to complete the set. (If not I may be able to get you one some night in Deep Creek), lol |

you could always find one and paint it silver.you can have my blue one for 75.00.one other outlet to try is -vintage parts.they buy all the old and discontinued parts from chrysler.call a dealer and give them the part# and have them ck. with vintage parts.most dealers are aware of vintage parts.if your dealers not,try another dealer. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 01-26-2010 at 10:26 PM |
