most of the time it is in drive use to downshift on twisty roads but when on trips I will lock into 4th gear. It does not hunt for gears on hills and found that it gets better mileage when using auto stick than drive ------------------ |

My cat has two patterns: In Drive when my wife is in the car [she doesn't like the bump from one gear to another} In Manual Shift when I am driving by myself because I love sound difference. |

quote: so I'm not the only one !... so I use Autostick to down shift... I find that just using drive the car hits the redline on the shifts. |

#5 - Love the sound from my Sweet Thunder exhaust. Interestingly, I've had a number of sporty cars with AutoStick (M-B SLK, CTS Sport most recently) - never got into the habit of using it and I know why; there just wasn't enough engine sound to make it fun. |
