#1 The tranny actually shifts faster in Drive than you can manually shift it. The computer knows best, if you let it learn a heavy pattern.

I use it mostly for downshifting as I like to do as little braking as possible. Also, I niticed on a cruise to Niagara falls this weekend that we all had a modified exhaust and we sounded pretty good cruising through town in first or second. |

1: Once in a while. The problem I have found is that I am more likely to find the rev limiter between first and second. Most of the time I just leave it in Drive unless I feel like playing a little. |
