I hate to do this, as I agree with Blackcat but my final thoughts on this....

I think we are working on the issues without the admins having to get involved. Notice it never went to the TIOF. Perhaps because the thread is actually being productive in bringing the issues to the forefront and hopfully solving them. Please everybody, give it a chance now and see what happens. Airing your views on this thread is a good thing provided we are working towards a resolution. |

Here is another newcomer POV! I only joined a couple of weeks ago and have started a few threads to get some feedback/insight and hopefully have some fun, learn a little and meet some new friends! I have owned a Ford GT, numerous Vipers, Porsches and even a LP640 Lambo and have been on all of those makes sites! Whether it is in the family, workplace, friendship or even on a forum there will always be conflict, jealousy, animosity or some sort of negativity! Bottom line is to keep your comments respectful no matter how much ones opinion might differ! As we all heard growing up, "if you don't have something nice to say then say nothing at all". I have seen people ridiculed for spelling, grammar and even get blasted for what was meant to be a funny innuendo that someone did not read between the lines on this site already! Quick story for you, when I owned my Ford a member of the FGT forum who was a Doctor ridiculed me b/c I sell cars for a living, I invited to meet him in Michigan where he lives to discuss it person (for his comments were very insulting) like a man and he PM apologized to me for he knew he was WAY wrong! When it was all over I had realized I was stooping down to his level by calling him out and for that I was wrong! I learned a lesson for I really wanted to bust his face for what he said, that would have solved nothing and I would have ended up arrested! And btw, he just happened to be a Doctor so no offense to anyone who is on here! Bottom line is we all need to self check sometimes, no one is perfect and no one should be insulting anyone else on here or, this is for fun, to help each other and share some stories about cars and life!! Just my two cents... |
