The Tulsa cruise was one of if not the best managed drives with a lot of Prowlers. Zack arranged the drive with the help of a "lot" of his law enforcement friends. Great sight!

Another was the "turn" at Woodward but you had to be there to appreciate it. Again, with the help of a great many law enforcement friends.

AMEN, to that Bob!

About half way back next to the median is Mike & Karen's Red Prowler. They are recording video of the cruise. I have this photo hanging on the wall of our garage. Zack was in the lead car. I am not sure who actually took the photo.

The Woodward turn was amazing. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the police stopping the traffic for that a first for the Woodward Dream Cruise?

Very good eye Rich. We love to pull off in the weirdest places to get the drive by shots. They never get old. That line was so long that is was tuff to get far enough ahead of everyone (within posted speed limits of course) to find a good spot and get stopped with enough time to get the whole line of cars. The the challenge of getting back in the car and try to catch up with everyone.

Bob, I believe we drove all of Oklahoma with a police escort.

Mike

Your video's are AWESOME and I think I can speak for everyone how much we really appreciate yours and Karen's efforts to document these events so that the can be relived over and over again.

Don't foregt the Fire Engine escort after lunch that controlled the traffic signal keeping it green.

Great photos. Thanks for sharing. Maybe someday I can attend one of these gatherings. How do you sleep at night when you take a trip like this. I would be checking on my car every 5 minutes. I guess I've lived in New York much too long.

Many times you have to drive, drive, drive to get to an event, Zapcopd. On my first it was 15 hours (rained like you wouldn't believe) from NJ to New Castle, In. Girlfriend at that time was not too keen on driving in that, so she didn't.

ZAP, if you are in a hotel with 100 Prowlers in the lot, there is usually someone out looking at the cars. There have been very few instances of problems in the parking lots.
If you are travelling alone the car can be parked near the front entrance where it is well lit and the clerk should be awake all night.
At first it is difficult, after awhile you realize it is just a car, and it is insured and hope for the best. The risk is worth the reward.

We have stayed many nights to and from events never having a problem. Heck we had 20 Prowlers in the lot outside NYC with no problems. The only problem I have ever heard of was Dave Mills window being busted on way to Tulsa. Like Ed said, try to be careful where you park and get some sleep. I do always try to park where I can see it from my room window, but that doesn't always happen.

Dave window was on his truck, car was on trailer and OK, glad they got window in and back on the road heading west.

They missed a great lunch at Gray Bros. but we waited for them at the rest stop near Plainfield, Indiana

My favorite picture is the ROUTE 66 that AC posted, wish I could have been there.

I believe they were after Dave's GPS.

Yep, my fault. They just took the GPS, didn't touch anything else. Expensive lesson for me.
