I think the guy removed his commentary because he sounded like a jerk before. I would love to know how they were able to convert the rear brakes. Looks like a high end set up but might still be cheaper than the OEM rear rotors. The wheels? Meh. Just talked to the shop and the braking modifications were designed by wilwood and were $6000, front and rear This message has been edited by beachcat on 04-26-2013 at 08:34 AM |

$ Six Thousand Dollars !! That sounds like Bugatti prices. I think the ZR1 Corvette is about $5000. |

Expensive proposition. Headers plus installation would be cheaper. |

I put on TSW... 19's front, 22 on the rear... used a 2" spacer on the back... like the look alot and the ride is decent even though I have 315/25/22 on the rear wheels.. |

quote: Just got off the phone with my preferred Chevrolet parts department and our discussion drifted off to prices of parts; specifically the newer Corvette ZR1. They utilize ceramic rotors at a list of over $2400 each!! Front pads list around $900 per set and rear pads list at about $600 per set!! While I appreciate the performance capabilities of the newer ZR1, $11500. plus tax plus labor seems a bit much for a Chevrolet....???!!
