Someone must have had a parking lot/College/Smog/etc. sticker on the corner of the rear bumper. It's about 2 inches square. It has been removed but you can still see a shadow of where it was once located. I've tried several products to mask over the image. Some of the products were made for the bumper material. My question is..would pure Alcohol damage the finish?

no it wont damage it,that shadow from a sticker most likely wont come off ,w/o repainting the bumper, its the only way to get rid of it.

Try the new product called "Wipe New". I used it on my Prowler bumpers and it looks great.I had a spot similar and just disappeared. The darn stuff is amazing. It makes your bumpers look like you just has them painted. Clean your bumpers with "Denatured Alcohol" before putting it on. Make sure you follow instructions. You don't get much in the bottle but it doesn't take much. I got mine at Rite Aid for about $15.00.

Stains on bumper
Those familiar with the grey bumpers know all about these stains, but the black bumpers get them too.
I started using it on the top back of the bumper and decided to take before and after pics. Swirl X replaced their Paint Cleaner. Use an old cloth and some elbow grease. Then buff with a clean (old) cloth.
Before using Meguaires Swirl X

After using Meguaires Swirl X

Gort. You must remember one thing. There is no such thing as a perfect Prowler. Not even from the showroom.

there is nothing that will hide/remove the mark left behind from a decal.had a customer along time ago that had lettering on his drs.sanded/ground down all the way to bare metal, repainted drs,and you could still see where the lettering used to be.
