And that my friends concludes my pictures, except one below. I started this post with thanking Marty and Rebecca for a wonderful time. And I want to conclude it the same way. You both did an outstanding job arranging everything and we all wish to thank you for your hard work. A lady I was talking to there put it best. To paraphrase, she said the prowler itself is just a car, albeit a nice car, its the people that you meet with them that makes it a wonderful experience. Thanks to everyone that took time out of their busy lives to attend. I met some of the nicest people that week. And to John, thanks for overcoming all odds and attending. Hope to see you in Colorado in 2015. To anyone else who has some pictures they would like to include (except Sugar!), please feel free to post them here. As everyone knows, there was a terrential rainstorm around San Antonio on Saturday. On our drive back to the Houston area, we stopped at Buc ee's about an hour out of San Antonio to rest and get out of the rain for a few minutes. It seems one in our group is a Buc ee's groupie. Having never been there, I found it like a huge feedstore for people. But while we were there, I thought I spotted a CELEBRITY. Then I thought, no... maybe its a terrorist! But alas, it was just a prowler owner who had been driving in the rain. (Sorry, the lens was foggy from the rain) Needless to say, she might want to have that convertible top adjusted. All these pics have been great. John, Mickey, Larry and Joe (and others) sure captured a lot of great images! We really enjoyed spending time meeting some new people getting to know some others better. I have to tell you that day to day I am OK with not driving a Prowler but wow, when I get around one or even worse, many of them - I really miss ownimg one! I am happy at least one person - Mickey - read one of the event posts that teh final night banquet was going to be cowboy themed! We look forward to seeing people again at future Prowler events!! Thanks for posting the pics. If you can edit and add some names, that would help for the newer folks, for sure. Good to see some old faces and some new faces. |

quote: Ed, names are not my strong point, but your point is well taken. I did edit and added names to the last few pictures with close-ups. If any of the information is incorrect, I apologize and will correct it. Please just let me know. |

I added some names to some of mine. I didn't repeat the names of those Joe captured. I'm throwing up a few more pictures to try and capture everyone as best I can. I hope I don't duplicate any pictures. Unfortunately, some I only captured from the side or from the back. You may be able to find better pictures of them in one of the other posts. This shows Janet and Dave Foshee from Texas in the table in the foreground. They had the Viper. They are on the far right. Veta (in white) with Greg to her right. (left to right) Arthur "artiekat" with the shimmer flamed candy, Jesse behind him in blue, Suzie Collins "Mrs. onecatnodog" in the peach, and Dan "On A Mission" on the right Chris (standing) and Laurie (in the green) from Texas Jim "JimR" (in yellow) and Lori to his left Dan & Lisa "On A Mission" And one of the cars I forgot that was in the car show the first day...
