The tooling for the rear splash guards is under way and I should have information on when I should have them ready in about three weeks

I wish they were longer to protect my rear bumpers.

Maybe Tom can make them a bit longer. What good are they if they don't protect our bumpers? What else, other than a trailer, is there back there to protect?

Funny, the fronts were too long and the rears are too short lol.

Dale, how much longer do you figure they should be?

Gosh, I actually like the look of the original rear mud flaps and how much of the rear wheel you could see from behind the car. I'd be afraid that if we made the mud flaps long enough to protect the rear bumper, we'd be looking at a really long ugly mud flap. JMO

They will be just like the factory Splash guards. I am trying to keep the cost reasonable.

Tom,

Count me out, my new Cat already has the rears installed and all my other cats have them on.
Thought it would be appropriate to let you know.

Best regards,

Kees

The first pair of rear mud guards are out of the molds and ready for our inspection. Next week we will take a look and do a trial fit and let you know how it goes.
Thanks for your patience.

Keep in mind that these rear splash guards also fit the Prowler trailer and in my opinion look very good on the trailer viewed from the rear.

I just received my front splash guards from Tom Mills @ Jefferson Auto. Great quality and better than the original from the dealer.

We checked out the tooling today and the first pair of rear splash guards and I believe after a couple of adjustments we will be ready to go.

I looked at my trailer and didn't realize it came with mud flaps so I don't need them after all.

Roger, at least long enough to clear the bottom of the bumper, I would have to measure to be sure.

Sorry I have another delay but looks like I will know something on Monday for sure. We need a little more work on the tooling to make me happy.

It is better to delay production of a piece in order to "get it right" than to put an imperfect piece into circulation just to get it out there.

Having seen the quality of Tom's parts, I am confident any wait will be worth it.

I picked up the first pair and they look very nice. We still have to do the permanent tooling but I may be able to have a few pair late next week.
I have a picture but it won't load.

Tom sent a pic and the rear splash guards are very nicely done. I know he hopes to be taking orders soon. I think he has a list going already. They add a nice finish to the car and to the Prowler trailer.
