These flaps really save the car from damage. I drive on some pretty bad roads, and they do grab rocks and mud well. Not JUST cool looking!

They are the same as the original very high quality like every thing Tom makes. I have original on my car and purchase a set from Tom for my trailer great product. I also have Tom's splash guards on the front of the Cat.

The fronts are 1 inch shorter than the originals so they don't drag on speed bumps and etc. The rears are the same are the originals.

I bought a set from Tom in January along with the front turn signal relocation kit. Everything was top quality and the fit was perfect. Ordered with Terry who was very easy to talk with and knowledgeable. I plan on making another purchase from Tom again in the fall.

I may be in the minority here, but I think mud flaps belong on trucks, not on hot rods or sports cars. As for road debris, I have had my Prowler for two years and drive it every day without mud flaps and have had NO damage on the car at all. JMO.

Golfy, you don't have rear bumpers. The rear wheels do throw out stones that hit the backs of the rear bumpers.

Not sure how much damage the front flaps prevent but to me they just look bloody cool. To each his own.

Yes, but do you drive it over rocky dirt roads? The front flaps save the sides of the car. I can hear stones slam into the flaps and fenders - they help me. Is the Prowler a hot rod? Is it a sports car?

Absolutely...when I lost 1 ft flap, I could hear the stones hitting the rear fender

L.D., I only drive my Kat on paved roads and will not take it on gravel or crushed shell roads or parking lots. That explains no damage to the sides. And I consider the Prowler to be a modern hot rod.

IME there is plenty of small stones, bits of black top and concrete on every road... I would say this is why they have stone guards on the rear fenders

My Kat has both front and rear mud flaps, currently both are O.E. but my plans are to swap the fronts with the shorter Mills version soon.

I have had situations where I have driven on paved surfaces that also had some loose gravel. More than once at slow speeds and while turning, I have had a piece of gravel hit the windshield and another time land in the interior.

The O.E. stone guards on my Kat were removed by the original owner and even though the rear fenders do have a few resulting nicks, it is something I can live with.
