Make sure to put “PROWLER GROUP” in comments section. At this time of the year the foliage will be brilliant. You must reserve and pay for your seats NOW! It will sell out quickly. According to TVRail, the seats will go fast as this is the most popular trip and the trip will be sold out the earliest. Don’t hesitate or you may not be able to ride!

The Date: October 28, 2014

Train Leaves Etowah at: 1:30 PM

The Fare is: $45.00 per adult

The trip is: 3 1/2 hrs. and returns at 5 PM

The driving time to Etowah, TN is: 1 hr. and 45 minutes from the hotel and should be the same back to the hotel depending on traffic.

We will be leaving the Hotel around 9:30 AM. That should give everyone enough time to browse Etowah and/ or get lunch

Trip mileage is 72 miles one way (MapQuest) so one tank of gas should be sufficient. Gas up before trip.

When we get to the Etowah Station, we will board a shuttle bus for a very short couple of minutes ride to the train. That said we will need to be there about 45 minutes earlier than the leaving time. Since the hotel has a free breakfast each morning the group can take advantage of that. We may have a place for lunch on the way. Timing is everything so we’ll see how it works out. That will be discussed at the Hotel before departure.

I don't think you are permitted to plan a "Day Trip" that won't allow for "Last Minute" add on participants.
