This topic comes up on every discussion board. Same for the two vrs four post lift. I had a 4 post lift, but prefer a 2 post. A lot of comments come from folks that own neither. There are benefits to each lift. By the way, my last craftsman mower lasted 13 years. All 1st world problems my friends.

I'm finishing up on a new garage and am going with 12 foot high ceiling.

Used full 2x6x12's, double bottom and top sills, 5" of foundation above floor. 2x6" are 12" oc with 24" I joists 12" oc for the ceiling/attic floor. Garage is 30' x 50'.
