We would have liked to go to this event to see all our friends. Unfortunately, other things are in the way. Have a great time and stay safe!

Great weather today, lots more showing up. Had the parking lot BBQ tonight, excellent. The cars from Fla. made it late afternoon. Some newer faces and some brand new owners.

Well guys have fun!!! Work for both Dana and myself is relentless since we took vacation 2 weeks ago to Memphis for our annual visit with Dana’s mom. Wish I could lead that planned trip to marble falls but I’m not sure of river city grill’s ability to host . You all take care and stay safe!

If you guys get out toward Lagrange on either the Schulenburg trip or “painted churches” trip and need food, get Joe to stop at or check out hruskas.... http://yelp.to/qTKq/7tjRx8pSvab

Burgers,kolaches, baked goods.....

I sure wish we could have made the trip but Sandy had tax deadlines and I have property deals and projects going on.
I hope everyone has a ball. I miss you all.

For the women. A trip to Austin and Waco, Texas and visited the Magnolia silos of Chip and Joanna Gaines from the HGTV Fixer Upper.

My camera is all screwed up apparently so I don't have any more pictures to post.
We went to Pauley's yesterday and visited for a couple of hours. Had a great time.
We went to Luckenbach the other day. It is about 3 or 4 acres, TOTAL. Not kidding. I am still glad we saw it. Went to the Alamo and finally saw that. Today we did a lot of driving in Hill Country, but diff. roads than earlier in the week. A really good day.
We are headed back toward home in the morning. I can't believe the week is over already. The weather was really good all week. We met a few new owners and had a lot of fun with some of the old timers, too. A huge thanks to Marty and Rebecca for a great time and DRU, Joe, deserves a huge thank you also. He did a lot of grunt work and gave me a great gift. I will attempt to figure out how to post a picture again and post it.
We crossed WOMAN HOLLERING Creek yesterday. We also crossed HOG TUSK creek the other day. Some colorful names around here.

Today we drove 12 hours from Texas to the Natchez Trace Parkway ready to begin our 2 day 444 miles history lesson on our way to Nashville, TN.
Could not ask for any better traveling companions. Truly a Prowler family.

What a great Prowler group. Being the oldest and slowest of the POA requires special treatment. These guys never let me get lost (always Rod behind and Ed and Steve in front). We traveled through 8 states and over 3,500 miles in 11 days. What a lifetime experience. We were not ready for it to end.

And Steve did not make a U-Turn. He backed up 6 miles but he avoided a U Turn. lol. Glad you guys made it home okay. The northern part of the Natchez Trace had a lot more curves. Not like the Tail of the Dragon, just nice flowing curves. The restaurant was very good. I plan on doing that N. Trace again. I really liked it.

Can you imagine driving 444 miles and NOT...
see a truck
a residence
a gas station
a billboard or any advertising
just nature at it's best. At times we were the only vehicles in sight for miles and miles. The speed limit was 50 mph.

How do you drive 444 miles in a Prowler and not see a gas station of some sort.
