Has there been any reports from other Hi-boys that said anything about rock chips? That would be my main concern with doing it.

@dublinOH what is your tire size? 285/35/20?

These guys told me repeatedly they put 6 coats of clear on her. If it get a mark there's plenty of clear to polish it out. I guess if you are thinking of doing it speak with your body guy about that. Seriously the pics do it no justice it looks drippy wet it's crazy!

I spoke to him before, he told me he wouldn't put more than 4 coats of clear. If I remember correctly it was do to the new paint needs to vent and after 4 coats of clear, the clear will start to flake and won't do good at adhering to itself. But I could be mistaken on those resons

I dunno?!!? it's what they said. Maybe because of the pearl mixed into the clear it has different adhesion and curing properties? If you look around the radius of the doors etc, you can see how thick it is. I'll try and get a pic but the weather heres been rainy and crappy. Post a few pics of your car? I wanna check it out.

Thank you but it's actually trashed right now. My wife found 90 percent of the furniture for the new house months ago. There have been significant sales that positively effected my budget so we purchased a lot of it and its in the garage and in my library upstairs. I can't wait till this move is done!! Prowler is hopefully gonna become my daily driver!!

I have followed a Prowler with no fenders sin the rain on multiple occasions. The rooster tail shoots straight up about 10 to 20 feet.

I drove this rig 60+K in 20 yrs. One repaint, not for chips. My Prowler with fenders has more rash before I traded for it than the coupe.
Watch the road for loose stuff you will be ok.
