Chris looks great. Still a couple of months to go before the weather is getting nicer, at least if you are not planning to take the car to Florida.

Keep us posted.

Best regards, kees

Oh the car is DEFINETLY going to Florida lol. They have kicked my neighborhood into hi gear so it'll be sooner than later. The car wont be driven on ANY NY roads. They are beyond beat. When she's done, right on a trailer and into storage. My house is going to be getting packed up/paint work etc. My car will be tucked away until my lift is installed in my new place and then she'll come home to FL. Pic of the new filler neck too. Overnighted so I'll have it tomorrow morning, taillights too. Keeping the ball rolling.....

Simply awesome, congrats!!
I like that style so much. Its a pity, that this isnt allowed in Europe. A real eye catcher. Keep going,

Like my side by side lift. Have a single lift but didn’t have room to install a 2nd in this space so it is in the unheated side & the side by side in heated area

I can walk under it no problem & installed 2 lights in center

Mine came with filler between in center of the 2 lift runners but was optional under the cars which I bought. mine is basically 16’ sq of flat storage space

Beautiful lift's, guys!

After doing a bunch of reading about high boys, it kind of shocked me how many negative posts there were about the look of them.

It just all goes back to a preference thing. Personally, I think the highboys look much better with the wider tires on back such as Chris is building and Steve Clark's Viper wheel set-up. I think the stocker wheels still look good on a high boy conversion, but that big meat out back just calls my name!

Hopefully, I'll join the high boy ranks in another year or so from start to completion. I guess time will tell!

Keep up the great work, Chris!

Why did you buy a black deck lid? Are you modifying it in some other way?

Thank you Girch. Steel city, I wanted to weld up the 3rd brake light so I ordered a factory trunk a while back so I have a COMPLETE set of body work for the car. I plan on either finding a banged up car to repair or figured I could unload 2 fenders, trunk and rear pan for a few grand. Crazy prices on Ebay prob easier to sell complete. I have always disliked the 3rd brake light I cant wait to have the whole back smooth as glass. On a side note got an awesome email yesterday, staring my house week of March 14th!!!!! Giddy up!!!! Heading to the shop in a bit, more pic's later.

Wow. I didn't realize an entire color change was part of this as well. That's exciting! Are you still planning on shaving the door handles, losing the factory mirrors, and adding louvered vents to the side panels?

Staying in the yellow family but possibly some candy. Keeping the handles/mirrors. Louvered panels are installed…….never made it to the body shop today. Monday, stay tuned……….
