😉 Thanks John! I’m going to wait until Monday to put it up. I’m still waiting for a few different sand papers so I can get the rear of the chassis looking just like this. Probably going to sand the texture out of the lower control and arms as well. |

My place at 1 a.m. no sleep again. Night time makes up of half of all time so if I look at it like that, I'm 1/2 a step ahead?!?!? |

Still a little figurin to do but I have a few ideas. Cross member in the rear is going up first thing tomorrow morning. The driver side mount is on an angle for the battery tray. I believe these should do the trick. Some more fancy hardware is a day or so out. This message has been edited by cdeluca99 on 09-08-2024 at 09:25 PM |

Broke a riv-nut. No big deal but of course I'm out of 3/8-16 riv-nuts, I'll have em in 2 days. I love how it came out, very happy. I'll just do a little cleaning and polishing while I wait for hardware. This message has been edited by cdeluca99 on 09-09-2024 at 12:40 PM |

Little progress. Gonna sleeve a 3/8 bolt and mill the sleeve at the correct angle for the angled mount. More fancy hardware on the way lol using that piece of tubing as the spacer for the rear mounts to get it to the correct height. Little more laying out to do but all in all it’s all set. Should be able to finish this one up today as long as the hardware shows up. This one was a little more work than I anticipated but one offs usually are. I’m happy with it. This message has been edited by cdeluca99 on 09-11-2024 at 03:50 AM |

Something tells me the old man was diggin helping me out with me car. It's been a while since we did a little project together. This showed up this morning!! Link below. It's about 20"x6" super nice 16ga black painted aluminum. It's got louvered panels like Toms car and Plane Jane!! 3/8-24 nuts delayed till tomorrow so I can't finish the battery tray tonight. Until then...... This message has been edited by cdeluca99 on 09-11-2024 at 02:21 PM |

From a plastic tray with (4) 6mm bots and body clips like pretty much every other car in existence to 3/8-16 bolts in (3) locations mounted to 1/4" billet plate. Little wire dressing tomorrow morning and I’ll put the battery back in and be cruisin!!! When I put it back up for the 45 degree angle braces I might make the angled mount, completely unnecessary because I can pick the car up by the tray lol we’ll see how it looks when the battery is back in.
