I did a quickie search for "Door Speakers" and it resulted in over 40 Threads on them.

This is the most recent one, and it is seven years old. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/005318.html

I did notice from your photo's that you have the Mills Window Regulators already installed.....Good Move!

Thanks alrtg, you always come thru. I appreciate the input sngsmg but I just want to change the speakers while I am looking at them. I was never a crazy stereo guy, I have the I-Phone bluetooth goodies. Usually the tunes are real low, background music. I bought a set of Kickers 6.5 from Amazon and some insulation goodies. I appreciate you guys helping me out.

Chris, just re-cone the speakers you have then if you don't want to embark on a whole new system. It's truly not difficult at all. It's apparent you're a pretty handy guy and it should be pretty easy for you. If you decide to do it and need any help, let me know. If nothing else, send them to me and I'll fix them for you, you pay shipping.

A lot of pearl!!!! Punched out the factory nutserts so I can run clips throughout. Those nutserts knurl up after a bit and you can only chase em with a tap so many times.

Now you need to polish that frame while you’ve got it disassembled.

I don't think I am going to go that crazy. I would need polished front suspension as well if I went that route. I am prob going to do that one day but not yet.
