Hello all, I wanted to bring this back to the top for summary. Tom wanted between 10 to 20 units to consider this next run. I think we made it. To date, we are at the follow. Screen name / qty / post date Onecatdog : 1 unit / 8-17-21 * I believe this vehicle was used to get the run started again. Steve is a great guy and long time friend to Tom. Total : 14 units I know there has been some work in progress on the next run. Let's show our continued support to Tom that we are committed to this GREAT product. Thank you everyone for your patience. If your in Bremerhaven, Germany and want to make a proposed order, let me know. I have 3 to 4 x 40'HC containers per week shipping automobiles to Bremerhaven. We can place your Prowler items with guarantee product safe to arrive damage free. |

Just to clarify. I have known Tom for 20 plus years. In fact I was the first person he met at the first Woodward Dream Cruise Prowler event. Tom has known that I have wanted a two piece deck lid for years. Long before this rerun topic started. Tom had my car since the end of August. It took approximately 3 weeks longer than he anticipated due to delays by the painter. This message has been edited by BeWare on 11-02-2022 at 10:45 PM |

Tom will correct me here if I'm wrong. I believe these will be offered as"installed only" due to the time and effort required to make the fit better than factory. Tom is a perfectionist and I know he wants to make sure his work reflects positively on his endeavors. There are many moving parts and everything needs to be aligned properly in order for the complete system to operate seamlessly. Having said this, you'll need to contact Tom individually to discuss your particular project. |

Sorry it has taken so long for this update; I have installed the two-piece decklid on 6 cars now and it is still not an easy job. I run into different situations on every car to make all the parts fit together. Some of the attaching parts had to be modified on each one to complete the install. With the additional modifications necessary on the attaching parts, it would not work out very well for me to offer a “kit” at this time. There is just too much “hands on” fitting that must be done as the install goes together. I am working with my parts vendor to modify the parts so they will work out ok with the differences I am running in to. I have one more scheduled to do and will see how it works out with the additional modifications. Should be a big help. I am still only able to get a very limited supply of the fiberglass parts. I am looking at maybe doing a limited number of installs at my shop for anyone that is willing to leave the car with me for a suitable length of time for me to complete the installation. I just committed to Tom to have him do my car. We are also going to remove the front bumpers, Tom is finding us one of his front Bumper removal kits. WOW! I've always loved the bumpers but saw a picture of a black car on the site with a black grill that just popped for me....Shelley too. Has a black grill too. Will try and find that pic. Have Gary's spoiler and the mini belly pan. Also looking at painting the rear bumpers. Can't wait. John ... This message has been edited by Stray Cat on 11-18-2022 at 11:06 AM |

If I can do this anyone can. Just follow Tom’s instructions. He’s got the steps numbered (1,2,3,4,etc). Don’t skip around. It’s important to do each step in order as each step affects the adjustment of the next. Each Prowler was hand assembled at the factory so no two are exactly alike. Tom designed his two piece trunk with multiple adjustments so it can be a custom fitted to each car. Everyone who has seen Toms trunk thinks it came from the factory. Tom puts a lot of effort & thought into his parts. He’s a perfectionist & it shows. Thank you Tom for all you do. |
