I have an issue when I call for left or right blinker, it doesnt work but hazards work. Rear defrost isn't working and interior fan doesn't blow when turned on. I think I have checked all the fuses I know about and don't see a blown fuse. Anyone have any suggestions? |

From the service manual, Left dash area Fuse 6 is for blower motor (fan). |

Switched both and nothing. Going to hook up a voltmeter and see if it's calling for the fan to turn on. I know forcing the AC relay makes the AC compressor to come on |

Any suggestions on bcm diagnosis/repair? I see a place called G7 computers with flat rate pricing. Any opinions? |

Many of the problems suggest a faulty BCM, except Heater/AC fan. Fan should work without any BCM commands, unless Resistor Block is fried. Place fan in Max Speed which by-passes Resistor Block. United Radio has repaired some members BCM's. http://www.unitedradio.com/industries-we-serve/automotive/ This message has been edited by Tomcal on 08-26-2024 at 02:05 PM |

I had a quick look at wiring manual. Fan should work even without a BCM. I believe BCM does control signal lights and Rear defrost. Dig into Fan issue further first. STAY AWAY FROM ANY COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP. Prowler is unique again.... BCM can't even be swapped between model years. |

When I have some time I will take a look at the fan again.turning it on max will be easy enough though. The ac light does go on and off with the press of the button but I don't hear the compressor kick on. Still need to find my multimeter to test to see if it's calling for the fan. |
