Dean,
What is the HP gain on a stock Prowler?

And will the stock O2 sensors and wires work with these? or do they need to be re-calibrated?

And do these work with the stock catalytic converters? Or do you need a custom set up?

Thanks in advance!!

Dean,

I have the same questions as everyone else. I have the Borla Mopar exhaust. It's only from the Cats back right ? Do these work with this configuration or do we need the pieces Rich posted ? Please let me know. I am very interested.

Thanks,

John

Dean, can you PM or post the answers to these questions? Would seem easy enough if there is a gain to be had..

I think Dean is out of town over the holidays, and does not have access to a computer. I expect he will answer the questions upon his return. In my conversations with him, I believe it is just the headers for that price.

When I got my first set of headers from Dean, I had the local muffer shop build an X-Pipe from the headers to my Borla mufflers. It cost me about $100 to hook them up.

OK,

So if you get the headers and have the Borla, you would need to have something built like what Rich Displayed right ? and if my memory serves me correctly, the "difuser" (little cone shaped thing that is visible in the pictures at the end of the Pipe) is a key piece to keep air flow though the system smooth. Can smoeone who has done this chime in here ? I am interested in the headers as I would guess with the Borla and the headers you could add 20-30 HP (or more ?) over stock. Add the intake, Headers, exhaust and gears and whoo hoo.... I bet the Prowler would really get a wake up call.

Thanks,

John

The optimum solution is to have the whole setup, but that is expensive. Some are not willing to put out that kind of cash. As we all know, custom parts are not cheap to produce, especially in small numbers.

The headers - though not as efficient as they could be, are still much more effective than stock. The other thing you will notice is how much cleaner the engine compartment looks with all the "crap" - heat shields, etc. - removed. You will not believe how big the pile of stuff is that you take out.

You are getting a lot of quality for the small price of just the headers. It is a good deal. Performance gains - and the SOUND enhancement - are assured.

I'm not buying 30-40HP with just headers and a borla. But if Dean has the dyno run to back what ever it is on a stock 3.5, then I'm more than interested. If the bypass and the cat system that Rich's post show can be priced too, then mo' better. I know it's all money and if I can get 25 hp then money for these headers would be well spent. I just want to see some concrete performance numbers - up to this point I've received nothing that would make me believe there are any that support any real gains or they would have been posted by now.

I had always heard that the Borla was 10-15 HP, the Intake could bring on 5 or so. And if the headers add 10-15 and the pipes..... well, you are at 30-40 and that is saying something in a car that only has 253 stock. Add the gears and it should be a different ride.... the mystery piece is the piece Rich showed and how to get it with the least back pressure isn't it ?

PROWLER PRO – BELANGER HEADER SALE

Our “Street Header” is designed to give your Prowler more power and a great sound at a more affordable price.
It comes with all gaskets and fasteners and 2 header hookups.
It is built out of aluminized steel and has machined collector flanges.

A few words about Power gains:

Power = Efficiency

Headers simply make your engine more efficient.

Dynos are great tuning tools but are not the bottom line.

"Higher Peak Horsepower" numbers do not necessarily mean a faster car.
Our headers increase power and torque throughout the engine's entire powerband.

I have raced many cars with more peak horsepower numbers and beaten them handily.

Have you seen the new 2008 600hp Viper?
McLaren designed cylinder heads for Dodge.

Belanger Headers are McLaren's header of choice for the 2008 Viper.

Per dollar spent this is the best product on the market to add power to your Prowler.

Options can be added to your order.

The chart below should answer your questions, Thank you for your interest.

Please feel free to call me directly to order your headers and have your questions answered.

Thank you for your interest.

Thanks Dean. I would want everything except the muffler, so this will have to remain on my wish list for now. I just can't afford them at this time.
