Due to the recent election results held in Arizona failing to ban gay marriage. It is now possible for A/C to wed. Congratulations Larry, I'm so happy for you and your domestic partner. |

Robert - that Prop would have passed here,,,,except there was an excess amount of language about health insurance claims being denied to couples living together. Az governments pay health claims to people NOT married, but living together,,,and this PROP would have ended that situation also, and was why it got defeated [heavy liberal turnout]. Next time,,,the prop will read that Az only recognizes a marriage or union between a man and a woman,,,which will pass the vote test. I'll be safe and happy then,,,,you'll have to keep your nasty butt in Michigan for a few more years, lol |

So you were for denying couples living together health benefits? Or did you vote with the liberals? |

RG - I have always voted against any proposition that involves more government intrusion into our personal lives, and those dealing with increased taxes. So, you might say [in your mind] that I voted with the liberals Personally,,,,,I don't give a rat's as$ who lives with, or marries whoever,,,,,but I don't feel its the taxpayer's responsibility to pay the health insurance claims of unmarried persons living together. Since our voters, once again, decided to raise the cigarette taxes another 85 cents per pack,,,,guess that will push me to quit. I vow to vote for any legislation that will increase the tax on alcohol, fast foods, etc.,,in the future. [paybacks] |
