Thanks for the headsup Jim.
I plan on meeting the group at the Rose Bowl.

Like you, I never have understood why Dreamcast and Scankat are barred from posting. Both were always exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Quote: I believe Dreamcast and Skancat (no longer able to post on this site for whatever reasons) talked about this.

Why do such talented members get kicked out of the forum.
Do they get panelized for having loud mouth. body odor or assosiation with bad people? Is there a committee that decide who to ban or up to to personal liking of higher authority?

posted 05-04-2007 02:23 PM The server ran short of hard disk space sometime early this morning and wiped out several files. It should be fine now. I'll attempt to restore what I can this afternoon from a backup taken yesterday. I also noticed that a few view counts in many of the forums also seem to be missing. Not a whole lot that I can do about these. MIKE GATLIN

I just wanted to say that the book is absolutely beautiful and everybody involved did a heck of a job, especially DC and Skankat.

That IS strange indeed !

Maybe the counter is polarized the OPPOSITE way and it'll deduct hits instead of adding them ?

Can't trust those servers these days, they're all flawed !

I am amazed at how current and up to date many Wikipedia pages are....who would think it was so up to date that it already had info on the publishing of that nice book, when it is just hot off the presses this past week!

Isn't THAT an interesting fact to ponder??

I wondered about that myself until I realized anyone can update the webpage Wikipedia at anytime.

Once this book is out for awhile, and more Prowler owners become aware of it , the price will go way up.

I picked up my Anniversary book yesterday at the Rose Bowl meet.
I can't say enough about the quality and attractiveness of the book.
Chwee and Jenn did an excellent job on this book.
Thank you for allowing me to own one.

Thanks also to David Nazem for all he did to make it happen.

That's what we were to believe only 100 were printed and since the books were numbered, it wouldn't make sense that anymore would be printed.

HA Dusti . . . It's so sad that day had to come!

Speaking of the limited number, and as a contributor to both the calendar and book, I know these guys well and they're reputable. They kept their word on the 18-month PTALK calendar (only 125 copies made) . . . and I'm confident they will keep this promise as well. To them, it's a matter of honor and pride.

Scott
