Taking Jim's wife uo to the hospital in a few minutes. He had emergency surgery Fri. night and had a massive infection where the mesh was inserted for the hernia. Is alergic to peneciln and they are trying to use other drugs to stop the infection. Repaired the hernia, again, and his vitals are good but fever is back. He is heavly sedated and on a ventilator and still needs our prayers as he is not out of the woods, yet. Gonna do a nice Red Neck get well dance for him, when I get there. That will bring him out of this. Seriously, please keep him in your prayers. Thanks. Jim

Just a note for all of you that are having to deal with this nasty disease.

I said numerous prayers and lit a candle in church yesterday, to ask God to be by your side during these emotional and often scary times.

Briefly, Jim is not out of the woods. Spent yesterday in ICU with him. Seems to be over the preverbial hump but will be a long slow recovery at best. Expect some set backs but he is no longer considered critical. Have him on the correct anti-biotics to stop the infection and the secondary infection. Heavily sedated while on the ventilator but vitals are more toward the normal range. His wife and daughter expressed their thanks for all the Prowler owners words of encouragement and prayers. He still has a full week in ICU, at leats as well as more rehab and healing in a semi-private. I must say the VA in Gainsville is extermely clean and the care givers very professional and they do care. Thanks, to you ALL for your concerns for my friend. Jim

Have had some requests for his address so a card could be sent. If you PM or e-mail me at jfwiss132@aol.com , I will provide his address. They were unable to remove the ventalator yesterday as it caused his vitals to elevate too high. They will have a full staff and his Dr. there today and will accomplish the task, without all the discomfort. I have no idea how they will do that, but should be able to update tonight. Again thanks for all the concern and prayers as I coppy them for the family.

A long awaited update. Jim returned home today and will rehab, heal and have dressings changed for 2 to 3 weeks then will have another surgery technique. When he gets some strength he will climb on line again and thank you all himself. Still has a way to go but what a relief to just hear him on the phone. Your prayers and concerns are most welcome and we thank you. Jim & Denise Warner
