Hi Jim,

These puppies look great! Are they silver or chrome finish? How well will they hold up from the engine heat induced? Any more pics of the cat in transition? Hope you're ready for the big show in 10 more days.....rootin' for you guys to 'get 'er done'!

Thanks Brett... they are as close to chrome as you can get in powdercoating... it cannot be compared to real chrome but still looks good.. yes, it is resistant to heat and has been used on valve covers before... The car is coming together, but right now it doesn't look like it will be done in time for the show on April 8th... he thinks the artwork is going to take a couple weeks because he is doing over the interior, hardtop and engine bay... I'll post some new pictures soon...

Jim:
Best of luck with the project, but I like some others kind of hate to see it because the paint job on HellCat was the best I've seen to date. I actually have a picture of it in my office.
I'm sure the new creation will be great.

Jim,

I remember when I first saw your old paint job. I literally said out loud "Got Dayum!" It was mind blowing. Cant wait to see what's next.

In the meantime, I checked out your website. Do you have any more hi-res photos of the old HelKat? I have to save the current paint job for posterity. Do you have them posted somewhere?

Louis
