Jim, I hate to be a stick in the mud but I want hellcat #1 back. There's no question Travis is a great artist though. |

I'm sure Travis would do another Hellkat for anyone that wants it done... I loved the realfire paint but this new version is a step up and will be the final paint for this car.. |

Hi Jim, Having seen the original in person, I thought it was stunning, and a work of art. This new version is likely just as striking, but in a 'different' way. I'm sure you are pleased with the outcome, as you had a vision and worked closely with your artist, but it reminds me of Fixxum's car. Both would look great at a show, and capture attention, just not mine. I do look forward to seeing it on person though, on a future visit to Halifax. Cheers |

Ray, your opinion is well stated! This is probably the real Ray talking. Jim, are you happy with the result because that's all that matters. I'm interested to know if you are 100% happy with the outcome because I think you were flying blind for much of it. Obviously you have put alot of time and money into this project. Are you blown away with the outcome? Are you still absorbing it? Is it something that has to grow on you? Please let us know.

I tried to help Jim out with the night pictures and made a drive all the way to Halifax from Houston. I got there just after the sun went down and got this shot. Not alot I could do about the streetlight being on. Sorry, Jim for not staying around to say hi but I wanted to get back to upload it before it got too late. Catch ya next time. |

This car would be a great one to use in a remake of Micheal Jackson's Thriller Video. Any video producers in the crowd? |

I appreciate all the nice comments and always pass them on to Travis... The plan was flexable from the beginning and subject to change... I encougeaged him to " make a statement " with this project. As we wnt on I had suggestions that he always had the option to use on not. The entire paint was done freehand without even a sketch. I think we made some changes in the plan everyday... Myself, as much as I loved the real fire paint... this new paint has exceeded my expectations a hundred times over. The pictures don't show the detail as well that you can see in person... As Ray said, it was the same with the previous paint...

Jim, did you do anything inside the car? was the paint theme carried onto the dash? Did you consider painting the front fenders with the artwork ? Just wondering. awesome work though. |

the interior was just painted black.... This winter He is going to do artwork on the dash, waterfall and door panels.... We thought the fenders would be best black to focus more on the hood... the jury is still out on that one... |

It could be my dash mat that is Black with Hellkat embroidered in red, maybe the orange seat belt pads.. Travis signed the hood in the middle of the cross.... I pay for the work and promote their shop same as I did with the flame job... I will keep the Hellkat name, I'm comfortable with it.
