Larry, my family’s prayers are with you. What a stand up guy you are for making her life as comfortable as you did while you both experienced the effects of this horrible disease. God will bless you for being the devoted husband “in sickness and in health” |

Larry, let me start by telling you I’m very sorry to hear that Sue has passed. I believe the first time we met was at the 20th anniversary Prowler event in Michigan. I know and understand completely what you’ve been dealing with being the caregiver for her all this time. A friend told me once that there’s a special place in heaven for those who step up and take on the roll of a caregiver. Most will hopefully never have to experience the heartbreak, exhaustion and selflessness required to do everything possible for our loved ones while fighting a battle that we know what the outcome is going to be and I commend you for your love and dedication you’ve given to her. Take comfort in knowing her struggles are now over and she is finally at peace and enjoying her eternal home. Now it’s time for you to get some much needed rest and take care of yourself. Sue will always be in your heart, so cherish all the good times and blessing you both enjoyed together. May God bless you always. |
