As of a few moments ago there were about nine registered POA members on the site and 134 "Guests" Yes, I understand that many of these "Guests" are bots trolling for information. When I check Who's Prowlin' the site ?? it appears that the majority of these "Guests" are apparently doing things I know isn't permitted for a Guest to do. Out of the top sixteen, thirteen appear to be either editing or replying to topics, one was shown to be editing a classified ad from 2006 and three were replying to the same Political Off Topic thread. While I realize this in inaccurate and essentially impossible, I clearly don't understand why it appears it is happening at all. Yes, This is something I have mentioned previously but have never received a clear answer other than Duh. or Huh, or maybe I don't know. Andria this website does not use SSL, "Secure Socket Layer". It encrypts information on the internet. When you see a website that begins with HTTPS and a small padlock icon, that means it is a secure website. In other words this website begins with HTTP and no padlock. Since we don't sell anything on this site and no credit card information is used, that is a good thing. The big issue I see is personal information and passwords can be hacked. Hope this helps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJJmoDZ3il8 |
