Can the seats be switched Driver to passenger? The reason is that I am alone 99% of the time when I drive the Prowler.
I have noticed that the driver seats in some of the used cars that I have seen looks worn and the passenger seat looks new.

I was just wondering if the seats or the cushions could be removed and switched out every few months just to keep the wear even.

I was told by a friend that has a Prowler that you can. He
ripped his seat and found a used one in a salvage yard in Cleveland. It was on the passenger's side. The drivers side was the side hit.

Doesn't the drivers seat have more adjustments on it? and they would be on the left side of the seat, against the tranny hump, if you switched driver to passenger.

There was a set of Prowler seats on Ebay some time ago, the drivers seat seemed to sit higher than the passenger seat, something my 5' 2" girlfriend has complained about. She wants the higher seat, like the driver has...

You would use the same base, just change the seat. The adjustments are on the base, not the seat.

I bet Tom Mills could answer this one since he is working on seat covers?

Just called someone at DC. OK this is what he said.

The best way is, and you can order each section.
Even though these have seperate part numbers, you can interchange some parts.
here it is

Right bottom RV321AZAA
Left bottom RV331AZAA

Right back RV341AZAA
Left Back RV351AZAA

Yes, the right and left cover and foam assembly can be removed from the aluminum frame and interchanged. The only difference would be the map pocket on the left side but that would be no big deal.

Thanks for all the info!

I will probally switch the seats around every 6 months or so. I am sure that I will need some help at that time.

If anyone else does this before then how about posting some of pics of the process?

Tom, Do the seat bottoms just "bolt" to the frame slide rails? Not sure of the actual part names.

Thanks,
Steve
