marks2000woodward![]() Prowler Junkie From:Port Aransas, TX. usa |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, The problem I'm having is not with my prowler but with my 1974 vette somtimes you turn the key to start the car there is no response it's totally dead. Then after you try it a few times it will eventually start with no problem. I thought it might be the starter, or alternator, or even maybe the flywheel. I had the battery checked and it is a ok. Any suggestions to remedy my problem will be greatly appreciated!!!!! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Check your Battery Cables, especially the + one at the Starter Solenoid. Even if connections look good at the battery, clean connections and reinstall. (be sure the + cable is disconnected @ the battery before checking the starter connection....) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also check the little wires connected to the Solenoid. sometimes these build up corrosion under the plastic clip housing causing havoc like the battery or starter is dead. If the little connectors are corroded, cut off and splice in new connector and use some waterproof grease. ------------------ This message has been edited by stevedymo on 06-21-2005 at 12:57 PM |
