![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just to let everyone know, I have been running a hood strut life experiment since I purchased my Prowler last year. Here is the test....I open and close my hood very slowly. So slow that the struts do not make any sound. I also apply some light machine oil (ATF) on the strut shafts at least once a month. (No jokes here please) So far, so good. No scientific or engineering evidence that this will extend the life of the poor design.....just a test. I'll post again in another year on this subject (or sooner if they give up the ghost). |
