Just got my prowler and what an amazing car it is! Super fun to drive, like a go-kart! Unfortunately noone replaced the lower ball joints on the a-arms and one snapped while I was going down the road. It's at the dealer now and they are fixing the recalled parts. Anyone know if they'll repair/replace the damaged ones due to the failure? Anyway, I'm new on here.. nice to meet everyone! |

It wasn't too bad from what I could see.. the rim chrome was peeled off from the a-arm landing in it while spinning. Also I think the upper ball joint bent since it was holding the pressure of a collapsed wheel on it's own. Man, atleast I was only going 30 when it happened and not 70+ on the freeway! Could have been a bloody situation then! |

Glad you're ok. Sorry your car isn't. What luck, I tell ya. Sounds like me. They should fix all the damage caused by the failure. For the future, its always good to ask (call a dealership with the VIN#) and find out if there are any outstanding recalls and get them done right off. |
