thanks catfish, but your solution itīs the same that buy the parts individually on my chrysler dealer, but i prefer buy this aftermarket kit because itīs cheaper & the same quality, i asked for this part individually in a spare shop & told me that wasnīt on stock & the price will be about 400, compare with a kit buy on US itīs too expensive, therefore i prefer buy this, but the problem itīs to shipping to spain that itīs not available.this weekend i will dismount the parts & check with the images that are the same parts. this is the kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DAYCO-WP295K1A-Timing-Belt-Kit-/170662976003?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3APlymouth%7CModel%3AProwler&vxp=mtr&hash=item27bc4e5a03 my car has 30000 miles but you need change the timing belt for miles or time & i donīt know if my car has the factory belt yet & i prefer to change all the timing parts to save time, money & problems. if you find this parts, please tell me something. thanks |

If you find a kit on eBay and they won't send it to Spain, you can ship it to me and I will then ship it to you. My email address is emonaha and that is at gmail.com I don't want a bunch of spam and that is why it is written like that. I don't think you can send or receive PMs yet, since you are still listed as a newbie. Let me know if I can help you out. |

He pulled the trigger on the items and they are enroute to me and then shipped to Spain. Anyone going to Spain in the next week or two that could take it with them to save him some shipping? |

I got two more boxes from UPS and put all 11 parts into one of the boxes. (I guess that includes the back ordered parts) I went to DHL. The box was about 18x15x12 and weighed 25 lbs. It was ONLY $ 329 to ship it to Spain. Not bad at all. I then went around the corner and waited in line at USPS and sent it for $ 105. No wonder the USPS is in financial trouble, only charging 1/3 of what DHL wants. I don't know the approx delivery date. Let me know. |

Are you doing this work yourself, if you are you will need a puller to pull the harmonic balancer. The Prowler book calls for a special tool which is nothing more than a small short 3 jaw puller. I had 4 in my garage and none did the job and I ended up buying one on amazon.com for $32. Don't attempt to pull it from the outside edge, there are 3 spots made for the 3 jaw puller to pull from. Inspect the harmonic balancer when you remove it for rubber decaying. I listened to catfish on this site and installed a new one. He said they deteriorate with age. Installing the belt can be tricky, I found the answer of the internet about using clothes pins to hold it in place so it is kept tight and followed the procedure in the book but it didn't mention how to keep it tight. I will give you the details if you need them, just PM me. The book calls for a special tool to install the harmonic balancer, I made one that worked fine. If you don't get it tight enough it will cause a problem with belt alignment and could spin on the end of the crankshaft. The harmonic balancer center bolt is too short to start the balancer that is why the special tool is needed. The strange thing is that the harmonic balancer does not have a key or key way cut in it to hold it in place. I am assuming the engine is in the car. |
