I just took a look at what carpeting was available, as far as the passenger compartment none of the OE molded carpet is available, but the rear bulkhead/trunk is still available in a decent quantity. Goes for a little over $400. As far as mold and mildew, I would go to HomeDepot and get the house cleaner with the mold/mildew inhibitor. Pull the carpet have it cleaned and spray down the guts with the Depot shite. Worth a shot anyways... JMO

Interesting.

If it is technically sound I would buy the complete softtop assembly in the classified section for 2000$, have it detailed at a professional detailer for around 500$ (they will detail the underside of the car also), have it serviced with all fluids and filters changed, another 2500$ and take a closer look at the regular used car parts sites like this: http://www.car-part.com and search for carpet under Plymouth Prowler, another 250 $

and you should be OK for around 13K. Not a bad deal I think.

Can't believe someone would let that happen to that Prowler...or any other vehicle for that matter. How sad. Obviously did not appreciate the car.

Buy it. I'll give you $2500 just to have it for parts.

Owner could have had some serious health issues (stroke or cancer or ??) which put the Prowler on the very back burner of his life......you never know. I would like to believe a healthy and sane individual would not let the vehicle deteriorate in that way....

Medical issues would not justify an unreasonable price for a neglected and dilapidated vehicle. It is what it is, regardless of why it got that way.

There's not near enough information to make an assessment of the value of the car, but I've saved much worse looking cars than this. This car has lots of value left in it. I think it looks much worse than it is. I'm interested in this car if you choose not to buy it, let me know.

I agree Bob, I would love the opportunity to clean this Prowler up.

I have the parts to fix any thing wrong with the car all new in stock. www.prowler-parts.com
quote:
would like to save from the parts bin. I would like to make a reasonable and fair offer but the car is in bad shape and requires work. I do not have a problem with that and have all the skills to save the car. I just need to be fair and reasonable with the price. I was going to get an appraiser but $500 would go a long way to repairs. I sent the attached photos to an insurance appraiser who suggested a price lower than the body panels are worth. Any suggestions?
Thank you

$25,000+ US not including body mods. Can be done without body mods.

Crate motor, engine computer, rebuilt transaxle, custom headers and exhaust, custom rad and fan, rewire, etc.... But worth every cent.

If that car is blue it's a 2001.

Last I heard Wayne was gather pieces to put it back together. At our hemi hideout event I overheard him talking about carpet and ran across prowler carpet on eBay and passed on the info to him so I assume he is piecing it together.

Any updates on this car? I'm curious about how far gone a Prowler can get and still be saved.
