17 Kats and counting! In the beginning I was doubting the "plan it and they will come" slogan, but our members have stepped up to the plate. I'm a believer again!

Steve - I believe most people that have planned an event can identify with your feelings. Glad to see you will have a good turnout. Wish we could be there. I would be real interested in the Jeg's tour.

Have fun.

Steve - Dad will have chicken, Jesse and I will have the steak. Yes to the tour - I imagine Jesse is allowed (I think the plant was age 12 - he just turned 13). Mom

Just received a call from Don Roberson in Tyler Texas. Unfortunately, due to some health problems he and his wife will not be able to make the trip. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Rose. They are planning on attending Laddie's "cruising the coast" later this year. Hope to see you both at an event in the near future.

Murphy's Law Strikes Columbus

We'll I've gotten off to a bad start this week. Monday morning I needed to get a screw removed from the tire of my Town & Country. I've been getting screwed ever since.

JEGS cancelled due to scheduling problems, BUT Hiliard, OH based Team Rahal came to the rescue! We will be touring their World Headquarters Friday morning. The plan is to depart the Embassy Suites at 10:00am. This is 1/2 hour later than the JEGS trip, so enjoy your extra 1/2 hour of sleep!!!

I called Carriage Town Chrysler to confirm that the Inca Gold prowler would be joining us on Saturday, they sold it this past Sunday! The gentleman who bought the car lives in Cleveland and I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to contact him. There is still hope for a gold prowler. I've got two more possibilities I'm chasing down! Wish me luck.

For those driving their cars in, we will have a wash station set up at the hotel for your convenience. We will also have overnight security (Mayes & Mayes inc.)!

Lastly, my hat goes off to every POA member that ever planned an event. What a pain in the a$$!! But I'd do it all again! Weather for the event looks Hot and Dry.

Looking forward to seeing all my old friends and making some new ones.

Steve

Direction to the hotel are as follows:

Take I270 to the SR161/33 east exit. At the first light turn right on Frantz Road. Take the next right on Upper Metro. The hotel will be on your right.

Kate, Amanda, and I wish everyone traveling in for the event a very safe and uneventful trip.

We attended the car show in Dublin, OH last night. WOW. There were some great cars there. There was a 1935 Packard that was a killer. The guy said he drives it a lot but it looked perfect. Dave Ridge and Roger would have loved that car.
There were a lot of other great cars, including every type known to man. I wish we could have stayed over to see everything today.
There were a couple of new Prowler owners there and everything was first class. The only bad news was the fact someone got a speeding ticket (not me since I never speed) but I will not divulge the name.
This is truly a great show if anyone can make it next year.
