I have been working on parking for the Woodward Dream Cruise. Anyone that has ever attended knows that this is an almost impossible task based on the number of people who attend the cruise. The intersection of 13 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue is what we refer to as the "epicenter" of the Dream Cruise. It's where everyone wants to be..to park. I received confirmation today from Joe Trotta of DaimlerChrysler that he is providing parking for all the Prowler Owners at the 13 Mile and Woodward location. DC sets up their manufacturer's display at the Northwood Shopping Center parking lot which is right on the corner of this intersection. A half block due East is a high school with a very large parking lot that faces 13 Mile Road. DC also takes over this lot for parking vehicles. Joe is giving us all the parking spaces we need. This is, indeed, very exciting news and when those who are attending get there, they will understand why!!! I assisted Joe with the Chelsea Proving Grounds / Prowlers event and so he is reciprocating by doing this for the Prowler owners. This is a big deal for us and I want to thank Joe profusely for his generosity. Thanks Joe!! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Marty, yes, that was Joe. Gene, yes, that is the location. On your map, the southwest corner of 13 & Woodward is the shopping center where DC will have their display set up. As you can see Woodward Avenue is a divided boulevard. There are four lanes of traffice on both sides..........8 lanes of Hot Rods!!! |

If you have not done Woodward you have no idea how cool parking at 13 mile is. Parking of any kind anywhere is impossible! Way to go CJ! This puts everyone at the heart of the biggest car cruise event in the world!! |

Update on the parking situation. DC is going to make sure that all the Prowlers are parked. However, they have limited me to just a few spaces for non-Prowlers. I am at my limit already. |
