You are right Rich, I was waiting to push again when the people from the Turkey Run start chatting about all the fun! All things are alive and well! I can say with about 99% for sure we will be drag racing wendsday! and for those who do not want to go racing we will set up a site seeing cruise. ------------------ |

I was going to bump this yesterday but Rich beat me to it. I sure hope we get a few more signed up before the holidays. I am sure we will fill the hotel so if you snooze, you lose. This will be a great event. Not too hot and humid in the middle of summer. |

While this is billed as an UnOfficial National Event, it will prove to be one of the most diverse in terms of scenery, activities (for adults AND kids - so bring the youngins) and people too perhaps (given its central to the US location). Ed and others are right, book early and make plans now ... that way we can all look forward to the fun together! |

I have had a few people call in the last couple weeks that were non POA members and ask if they could attend, YES YOU CAN! Also Ray maybe we should take Un Official Event off, It is time to think how we should title this event? Any Ideas? Any Ideas for a logo? ------------------ This message has been edited by Bob Goetz on 11-30-2004 at 09:22 AM |

We could name it the event formerly known as the unofficial event in honor of Bob's homey. |

Excellent IDEA, Bob ... perhaps a logo contest with an "event prize" to the winner ... ? And as to renaming this Dells Event ... it should NOT be "unofficial" given the nuumber of attendees to date and the potential for being the LARGEST POA event ever held (cheesehead hat wearers notwithstanding). Let's ponder this ... and see what "feedback" the membership provides =) |

Was thinking mayyyybe like Prowlers Over Wisconsin - 2005, but the abbreviation would be POW .... Since the Dells will be our "base", but the event actually will have us throughout SE Wisconsin - lots planned for this AWSOME event! |

Sasquatch, what kind of Prowler event would it be without your handsome face gracing the cover of the welcoming brochure? You have been unemployed before, how tough can it be to find a job in this economy! |

Jerry and Ed - the problem isn't with my lousy job,,,its Lethia's job. She is the bread winner here, not me, lol. Its a long, boring story, but Lethia's employer is closing down the one plant where she works,,,,,,,so she may accept a similar position with a company out of Atlanta which sublets a small portion of that plant? Time will tell what happens there. |
