When: July 18th thru the 22nd ( Monday thru Friday ) Rooms are $87.69 a night that includes tax. This area is very family friendly and has some very scenic areas to cruise to. We have Casinos, Boat Rides,Rafting,Golf,Fishing & Water Parks for the Kids and a few select adults who have not grown up. I am kinda thinking of having a couple of cruise routes a day ending back at the Lodge by 6PM. Maybe 2 non cruising group events during the week. A Prowler only Drive Inn night. Only 1 group dinner. So what do you think? P.S The Weekend before is the 2nd Annual Real Rod BBQ Days Event so we would leave here Sunday Morning and head to the Dells. Ideas:

Bob. Looks good! I'm in, but I guess I'll have to sit out for the "prowler only" events !!! I'll be there for BBQ Days, and then head to the dells.... This message has been edited by 01Prowler on 03-23-2005 at 10:29 AM |

OK Smart Guy POA GROUP DRIVE IN! Just how cool would it be to watch Vanishing Point with a sea of Prowlers in the back ground. Depending on the group size I may invite the Viper Group from around here. Power Tour is the first week of June. This message has been edited by Bob Goetz on 09-16-2004 at 03:24 PM |

Enduro I was hoping to get Genotex and a few other locals to scope out cruise routes with stops for lunch, shopping and site seeing that would last 6 to 7 hours and have the person that picked out the route head up the cruise for that day. ------------------ |

Unless we win the lottery we will have to miss all the POA events in 2005. I'll be using two weeks vacation to do Power Tour (including time in Florida afterwards) and my third - and last week - is already committed to a family event. Bummer! |

Ok waiting on the Hotel to give me rates and when they have to be booked as this is their busy time. This is a little pre-mature but I would like to get e-mail and phone numbers for anyone willing to help out either during the event or pre event scouting. Please e-mail me the info at goetzxtreme3@cs.com under the subject of WIS DELLS. I have ordered 10 books from the Dells tourism bureau to try to get a handle on everything available. Also again I know its early but if you are 50% sure you can attend please post so I have some idea of the numbers. I personally do not care if we have 20 or 200, myself and several others are going to get together and have a good time. It is my goal to keep it simple so everyone can have time to break off in smaller groups and enjoy. This is tentatively what I am thinking we can do: 5 to 7 hour cruise a day ( out by 10AM back by 6PM ) ------------------ |

We were just there a couple weeks back and stayed at the Howard Johnson Antiqua BAy ... very convienent to many things and they have an indoor / outdoor pool with kids areas too. Reasonable rates and while not a Hyatt, it was clean and provided in-room frige, restaurant / bar and friendly staff. They also have many banquet rooms for a possible "welcome" hospitality area if you wanted ... just a thought Bob ... Is right near the main intersection where that Mega Mini-golf is (52 holes I think) and the awsome wooden rollercoaster just before you get into "downtown". The other place I would recommend is Chula Vista ... used to go there for annual Vette get-together an while it is off the beaten path, the road TO it is great for Prowlin and the resport itself had all the ammenities, restaurant / bar, space and an outdoor mega pool area. So there ya have it ... two ideas from a "flatlander" |
