Paying the Power tour Fee gives you the goody bag and 5 or 6 free meals plus entry to track events and any other activities planned along the way. On the 2003 tour we had seven meals provided and entry to two drag strips...

Paying the fee also allows you to park with the other Power tour cars in designated areas (there are lots of cars). There was a one event Fee of $25 for locals to park with the Tour cars at each night stop. This was like a big cruise in... You can park along with the public and walk around to view all cars and that is Free...

It's hard to give a recommendation for a one day stopover. For two days, I would recommend paying the power tour fee. Until you get the goody bag, you don't know how many meals will be provided...

It's one Fee whether you cruise along for one day or all 8 days... In 2000 we did three days and paid the Fee. In 2003, we did the Long Haul... This year I plan to do three stops (Birm. to Kissimee) and pay the Fee...

Go to www.hotrod.com to find the link to register. It's also on the first page of this post by Marty. The registration fee is $55 regardless of where you join the tour.

My goal is to have even more Kats participating in the 2005 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, at least 150 Prowlin' the Florida highways from Tallahassee to Orlando.

Have your signed up? Why not?

Now I have to get the Dart done......but who needs an interior.........oh well......... I could always drive the Cat as a back up

There you have it... there is a ONE NIGHT ONLY fee available, so if this interest you, give them a call toll free @ 877 413 6515 for the details ASAP.

Additionally, we are negotiating with the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum, which has 4 Prowlers on display, for a Thursday afternoon rendezvous point. Go to www.tacm.com for museum information and I will keep y'all informed as we finalize this location.

With the reduce entry fee, now more of you Kats may want to join us for this once in a lifetime Prowlin' Event.

Regardless if you pre-register with the Hot Rod Power Tour or wait till you arrive, PLEASE let Marty know that you will be participating... we are very interested in the TOTAL number of Prowlers and that information will not be available from the "Official" event sources... we have to keep that updated ourselves.
