As posted months ago -

If someone wants to step up and organzie this, we will work with you and the photographer you choose to get a good lcoation and time for the photoshoot. Ray and Gordon have offered to provide the names of photographers used at the Dells and Smokies events.

I hope someone decides to do this.

... while not being able to attend this event, I had been offering my assistance with respect to meeting the desire of many to have a professionally done group photo as has been done at some other national events. Up until today I was actively aiding a fellow Chicago area owner who is attending Louisville in this endeavor.

However, after receiving the following from a member who professes to "speak for the POA", I can not in good conscious work to coordinate something that might likewise be inferior to people's expectations. The photographer from the Dells event has also been copied on the criticisms from "the voice of the POA" to avoid wasting their time any further.

"By the way, the Dells panoramic was pathetic. What a shitty background. Notice no one said it turned out good the other day when you praised yourself, AGAIN."

My apologies to those that attended that event if these are the thoughts regarding that activity and product.

Ray, I for one liked the photo, the setting, and I do appreciate the effort that went into the Dells photo.
My only suggestion is that the print be a bit larger even if it costs a few more bucks. Larger cars and people would be the result. Thank you for assisting in this effort.

WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE BACKROUND IS ACCEPTABLE TO EVERYONE SO IT LOOKS NICE, I FOR ONE DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE BACKROUND BUT BIGGER CARS WOULD BE NICE REMEMBER WE WILL HAVE OVER 100 PROWLERS THAT'S 35 MORE THAN AT THE DELLS.

Here is what I have so far.
1. There is a $150.00 fee for their travel. I will pay this not the members or the organizers.
2.There will be two shots taken. One with the people and their cars and one of just the cars.
3. Each panoramic will be $35.00 without the frame or $80.00
Framed.
4. They will be glad to shoot individual shots with cars and owners. I do not have that price yet.
5. The photo shoot will be on the 11th with the 12th as a rain date.
6. You do not have to buy pictures or participate if you so choose.
7. Neither the POA or myself are making any money off this.
8. No Ed there is no Senior Discount. Your AARP card won't work here.
As soon as I have the rest of the pricing I will post it. If you think you are interested in purchasing any photo's please post below so I have a general idea of the interest.
Thank you
Neal Bardens

We may need to rethink this again. The best venue/timing for a group photomis at the Ky Horse Park on July 11th. The nproblem is we only have 57 people - LESS THAN 30 cars -signed up to go on that cruise.

I will be contacting Neal about this this morning.

Please see my thread about problems with the Louisville event as this is all connected.

Neal - I believe there is plenty of interest IF we can find a location all the cars will attend. The Ky Horse Park would have been the most scenic with the white board fences or barns and rolling hills. With less than 30 cars going ( maybe the $12 admission keeps people from going or they just have other plans for the day) our next best alternative is the next day with no out of town crusies planned but may mean people will miss some of the local attractions museum they may want to attend. Hopefully we can talk in the morning - I sent you an email.

Marty
