It's a private venue in Bandera overlooking the Medina River where we'll have an old fashion Texas cook out. We'll be pulling our cars down to the water's edge (assuming it's not muddy - there is a plan B) There will be a live band playing form a natural stone stage band and some local entertainment from the "Cowboy Capital of the World". Texas, another good reason to love it down here! Posted 85MPH speed limit signs going up in Texas!! We might have to take a short cruise on this section of road next year!

Thanks for the bump! Now that I am returning home for a while after a stretch of five weeks working out of town since Labor Day, I can start working on more details for the event. If you plan to attend, PLEASE make your hotel reservations. The size of the room blcok may be changed by the hotel if enough rooms are not booked by end of next month. |

Marty, Is there a promotion code to enter when making your reservation online to make sure it is applied to the Prowler event? I made my reservations tonight and it asked for a promotion code. I just tried "prowler" but apparently no go. I did make my reservation but do not know if it applies to your block. Please let us know if there is a code to enter when making your reservation. Perhaps I can enter it later. Thanks |

Mickey, I made it for the 19-25th. The 19th is Sunday, the day of arrival, no events scheduled. But if the Houston area people decide to go up on Sat the 18th, I can probably change the reservation. We probably should start a conversation with the local people to see what the consensus is about the travel schedule. |

dru - your post has rteminded me that I had asked for an on line link/password to register at the hotel but they have never sent it. I just left them a message. I also asked for a room reservation list. You may want to call the toll free number to be sure you have a reservation and are getting the group rate. Marty |

Our Grandson in Utah graduates High School May 22, 2013. He has personally invited us to come to his graduation. Sorry but we will not be making it to this event. Family comes first. Actually we have two other Grandsons also in Utah that probably will be graduating HS around the same time. |

Sorry to have been ignoring the event thread and not posting much about it. Between working out of town events for about 6 weeks of September and October and Rebecca having health issues (plus she is resigning/retiring early -end of next week) and having family in from out of state for Thanksgiving week I have just let life get in the way of working much on the event lately. The good news is I only have to work 2 days the rest of the YEAR and will have time to visit the hotel again and firm up some event plans. I will upodate the event attendance lists and get a password for hotel reigistration this week.
