Sorry - I thought I had posted that. When I went back top check I found a note where I had called asking for it _AGAIN (third time) but never got a call back. I am working at a convention that opens tomoroow and will call the hotel sales office/reservation office once it opens and see about getting it posted. No, I was on the street driving and it was parked in a parking lot so couldn't really see it up close. Plus it was a rainy, murky day and the car was really dirty. |

OK - back home after being gone 5 1/2 of last 6 weeks. It's time to get back to promoting the Texas event again. According to the sales director,the hotel does NOT currently have the ability to book group rate rooms online so reservations need to be booked by phone or email: HOTEL INFO: Inn of the Hills http://www.innofthehills.com/ If you are planning to attend PLEASE BOOK YOUR ROOMS ASAP. There are only 17 rooms booked so far. The hotel will be asking me to reeduce the room block on February 1st. |

Hi everyone. I will be working this weekend to update the attendee list and talking witht he hotel and other venues about costs, menues, etc. The plans are to keep the event fee at a minimum - to cover the Opening Reception, Banquet, printing maps,cost for name badges, etc. Hopefully everything else can be pay as you go. Several people have PMd me in the past offering their assistance. If you are still wiling to assist please PM me again or post something. There are several things that will need to be done once we are on site - help could be used on arrival day to greet people and hand out name badges at the same time arrangements for, the openign reception will be going on. At this point there is no T shirt design. I have a logo idea and I should have an image in a about a week. If anyone wants to take on making T shirts, selling them and designating where the money will go that would be great. Same thing with a raffle/auction. If someone or some group wants to undertake that, please let me know. As of now there are plans to have 50/50 chances with 50% to the winner and the balance used to offset any event expenses not covered by the event fee (just want to break even) and the balance will be split with donations to the two websites. We are looking forward to having everyone join us in the Texas Hill Country. Marty |

I'm going to make a reservation for Saturday evening and Sunday. I will be leaving on Monday and not sure if Ken will be able to make it with me or not with his crazy schedule. I will have to see what's going on closer to the event. T |

Marty, Felici and I will be getting there a day before the Event starts so we'll be happy to work Registration, Greet People and hand out Name Badges. I even have a couple of fold-up Tables and Chairs I could bring if needed for the set up. |

I will update the attendee list and am glad to see some rooms getting booked. We spent all day Saturday driving the routes we will take for the Fredericksburg/LBJ Ranch/Salt Lick Bar B Que day adn found some nice wineries, restarants, and other attractions along the way. The day if this cruise will start at about 9:30 AM with a short group cruise to Fredericksburg, then everyone will be on their own untill we meet together at the LBJ Ranch visitor cent4er parking lot about 5 PM to cruise together to Salt Lick Bar B Que. I should have the final agenda for the event in next 30 days - the events of a couple of days might get switched due to schedules at some of the venues. |
