I wish I could put one on like Ed does. It takes a lot of planning and hours of event preparing. Even though we had a great time in the Keys with great people, the Smokies make the Keys look like the red-headed step child! You'll enjoy the Katavan up with all your new FL Kat friends.

Registered: Aug 2009 Admin Use	posted 11-15-2013 09:20 PM To our Florida Kat Pak: Count us in for the Prowler caravan enroute for 2 days to Smokies. We will be leaving SWFL area in afternoon of Fri the 24th to make run up to Ocalla area, and we would plan to meet up with Jim Sutton in Ocalla area. However, If we can get everyone who joined us in Key West to come along, I doubt that Jim and Jean will let us all crash at his place... We should plan to meet at the Cracker Barrel on I75 (exit 350) with plenty of lodging and depart in the morning of 10/25 Saturday for Prowler run to Macon Ga. Expect this to be another great trip, and we also plan to revisit the Biltmore on the day trip to Ashville! PURRFECT! Norm and Sue ------------------

Wally, you are laying it on awfully thick. I wasn't planning on doing hardly anything and now I might have to do some work. Dang, I hate when that happens.

There were a couple of cancellations and I also got some phone calls and a few new ones are about to make the reservation. I will update it again but there aren't many adjustments to make yet. Only 8 months away.

Concerning the Asheville trip, if some of the group wants to stay in the nicest hotel in the Smokeys and not take such a long drive,you might want to consider this place as an over night stay. http://www.groveparkinn.com/ WARNING..very expensive.
