I made this suggestion to Steve since he is the travel event director…. LOL

For most of the ones I know who are traveling this part of the trip has been but I am ALWAYS up to stopping at Lamberts

In speaking with a fellow member in Gatlinburg, on why they now trailer their car (They too, used to drive it) their reasoning makes great sense. These cars are over 20 years old. Many places we drive have no dealers or places to fix them. If you break down in one of those remote areas, where will the car go for repairs ? And, due to the rarity, some parts may not be readily available. So your car sits while you search for parts. And you must travel back and forth to get it. I am probably being paranoid, and worrying about a lot (I have never broken down, although I did get a Nasty flat) that may not happen, and of course your trailer can break down, your truck you trailer with can break down. But those vehicles may have a better chance of being fixed properly. Traveling with a bunch of Prowlers helps and, yes, its an absolute blast.
Another thing that is new, at 64 YOA, I don't and Shelley really does not travel well, like we used to. Her back and her sciatica start bothering her. She doesn't enjoy the long trips really. We didn't do some of the longer trips in TN as she learned in WV, it was uncomfortable for her. The Prowler has limited foot well space for her to change up her position much. But, as Ed is saying, and as I know, caravaning with a bunch of Prowlers, (in the old days with your Walkie Talkies on!) was such a blast. We will see.

John

You are having problems at 64? just wait until you are 84. LOL
