"I'm officially off this site"

I say good. I was getting really tired about hearing about how he wants us to pay more for his car than people here think it's worth. Just Because someone spends $20K in uprgades does not mean the car is worth $20K more. In fact, most people feel that upgraded vehicles are worth less than their stock counterparts because of the type of person that would upgrade a car. being 22 years old I know that every one of my friends who soups up his corvette, porsche or even civic and accords, drives it like a maniac. I personally love to buy vehicles which have been drastically upgraded, because I know I can get the power I want and pay close to what a stock one would cost.

Hey Yellow,

Your age "22" really shows! Check out Ebay, I just listed the car today and it already has 11 bids. Yourself and a couple others really are starting to give this site a bad name. If you look at the string of posts for this car, you will see that MATURE members of this site felt that $47,900 was a steal. Grow up bro and don't continue to show your immaturity by posting a response to this! This site is supposed to be a fun place for Prowler owners to come, and the majority of the members are both wiser and a lot more mature that a 22 year old. The Marine in me wished you were in front of me right now, but the mature man in me is laughing as I type!

James,

I thought you left, but apparently not. And please, don't try to talk about immaturity, your comment about wishing I was in front of you shows a lot about you own maturity. You should be ashamed to insinuate that you would use violence to express your opinion.

Sad.... and embarrassing.

James - don't let the children on this site push you away. He's just a spoiled newbie that needs to grow up. From his first post on this, THAT was obvious to all of us I think. One of these days, he'll be put in his place. If you choose to leave, that will be your decision. I think you'll be missed. We know when the time is right, you'll get another kat and join us once again. Until then, I wish the best of luck to you and your family.

Don't worry about opinions from people who aren't buyers. The only one that counts is the next owner's, and of course mine.
Nice car and the next owner doesn't have to be without it for a couple months while mods are being done.

You guys are the best, thanks. It's a shame, I really did'nt want to get rid of my Prowler, and I may not have to after all. As EVERYONE knows by now, the only reason why it is for sale was due to a family member being diagnosed with cancer. Well she is in Kemo now, doing a little better. When I first posted this, many POA members emailed me with tons of advise. That's what is so great about this site, even if your problem isn't Prowler related, a POA member will have an answer for you, very intellectual group of people, and fun. She has breast cancer, in which women do survive, but she also has it throughout her liver, which is bad news. Cutting out a piece of the liver where the cancer resides wouldn't be enough, since it is within the entire organ. We are now trying to see if she can be a candidate for a liver transplant. I was selling all my toys to help pay for the possibility of sending her to a cancer treatment center, but she does not want to go that route. If anyone has gone through this exact same senario, please feel free to email me suggestions. Right now she is taking medication to increase her energy, since Kemo is wiping her out and doing things like drinking Carrot juice. Any other helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

So I am going to keep the car, and just for fun, since I already paid for it, let's keep it on Ebay and see how high it goes, it's already at $40,100, with six days left. POA, my donation check is in the mail, time to change my title to "POA site supporter."

James, good luck with life in general. My sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer and will start kemo tomorrow. Prognosis is good but 6 months of kemo and radiation treatment does take a toll on one's body. Glad you are keeping the Kat, so enjoy your toy and tell everyone our prayers are with you. Semper Fi, back at you. (66-70)

Ooooorrraahhhhhhh Steven! I bet the Corps was a lot different in 66-70 then it is now! I have been in since 1992, Third Surveillance reconnaissance Intelligence Group and Marine Security Guard Battalion, both an absolute blast. I wonder how many members of POA are DevilDogs?

My prayers are with your sister, was her liver all clear of cancer? If so, she should pull through this just fine!! Scary disease, and I used to smoke like a chimney when I was younger.......regretting it now.

James- Hang in there, buddy. The next time she feels bad, drop the top and take her out for a ride! I know that would perk her spirits up. Buddy in Texas
