Kozican,

I was crying a storm when it finally left. I never realized how much crying a 38 year old can do. My wife was there to calm me down. I will have another Prowler for sure. Mike is going to do a Overhauling show for me and then bring me in blind folded and hand over the keys.

Mike,

I was too emotional and felt very nervous to do it since it was no longer my Prowler. I am compiling the video right now and you will see how emotional the video is.

It is a 7 minute video clip and get your tissue paper ready because it is a tear jerker. You must be a die hard Prowler enthusists to fully understand this video your about to see. If your not a DIE HARD Prowler enthusiasts like I am, your going to think I'M GAY!!

I'm thinking my ex-prowler should be showing up at your door step tonight sometime Mike??

Video coming up...

I haven't seen anything that sad since I saw you standing, stooping by the side of the road in Texas waiting for us to arrive at the Lake for dinner, or maybe you in Pauley's Prowler in the rain.
The UPSIDE is that you GET IT and you will be back in a Prowler in the near future. Plus you know the car went to a good home (other than the janitor).

Dan - I hope you are back in a Prowler real soon. Your video shows what a lot of us can only imagine - how it would feel to say good bye to our cars.

I am sure Mike will give it a good home and have something interesting in mind for it!

Dan

What a way to see it go. It makes it a lot sadder to know it is on tape.

The PLUS is, it is in good company

Good Luck on a future Cat

Dan:
I remember the days just before you bought your cat in 01 when I worked at the dealership next door to BMW, I was working at Mitsubishi for the couple of days it was on the lot I looked at it everyday two days after you bought it I went to San Jose and bought my black 99 only later to meet you as a fellow POA member.
The cruises, gatherings and phone calls along with the day at our new home with your daughter in attendance all flood to my mind along with your sadness, I will always cherries the memories, thanks to you and the many many friends I have made.

God Bless you my friend, if we never are allowed to have another Prowler we can always say "I was there when" thanks Lord,

your friend

Jim contacted me that day on another matter, saying he was interested in the car for his son (?). But had gotten no reply from his pm. I gave him the phone numbers I had for Dan.

Wildcat, cmblockhus, and cnote6 thank you for the vote of support.

Curtis, I never realized you had seen my prowler at the BMW
dealership in Fremont. You are correct. I had taken my wifes truck
to get serviced and as I turned the loop I saw it and the
rest is history.

This is really not my business I guess. But I will just post about this once, and stay out.

I know of one person in particular who feels a underhanded deal went down. After reading a email or two I don't blame him one bit. This person who was ready to buy, is a straight up, word as good as gold type guy who I have no reason to doubt. Now, just another person who stays away from this forum.

Integrity, fast becoming a thing of the past.

JD,
Thanks for putting it out there for all to see.
I wanted to but I was trying real hard to be nice.

This was a bad deal and I'm very disappointed in the way it went down.

Dan,
You completely lost respect in my eyes. I thought you were better than this.

Dan, I've known you for at least 5 years now and I have always had the highest respect for you as you know. Therefore (since I'm concerned about the decreasing value of our cars) yours on the surface sold for $28,000. Could you share with us the final sale price. If not could you let me know and if you don't want it shared publicly I won't.

Thanks,
Blackcat

Why won't you address the issue that was brought up? I am sure there is at least on interested party in So Cal that would love to know what happened.

Sold to Mike Krehel, you'll note if you listen to his goodbye to his prowler video. Yes, must have gotten an offer for more than 28K from him - and I'm sure it was worth every bit of it.

If he got a better offer, he should have made the same offer to the interested parties that he comitted to earlier. Its really a bad way to do business with a group you know and trust. Im sure it was worth more then what he was offering but he did state he would reserve for the first three responding parties. At least give them a chance to match the offer, if they turn it down, then there is no problem. Now it looks bad.

It is bad enough that Dan sold his car. I would guess he priced it for quick sale.

We do not know the details that transpired. I think you should give him a break.

Dan and Mike have been helpful to all of us. WERE WOULD WE BE IF NOT FOR POA? How many people would have banners and avatars without DAN?

I for one think we should forget this and go on.

I guess Dan should not have posted the names & time then no one would know nothing. The video sounded like it was a painful night, maybe he didn't want to car in California to see again.

My 2 Cents
